How Psychosomatics discloses funding, sponsorship, partnerships, and potential conflicts of interest.

Editorial independence
Standing rules
- Payment, gifts, partnerships, or personal relationships do not give a funder control over an editorial conclusion.
- Sponsored material, if introduced, must be labeled before the main text begins.
- Advertising must not be presented as a clinical, medical, or editorial recommendation.
- Authors and reviewers disclose material conflicts of interest.
- The editorial team may reject funding that creates unacceptable pressure or risk to trust.
What would be disclosed
- The name of an organization or person funding a specific item or project.
- The relationship: grant, sponsorship, advertising, affiliate link, free product, or other support.
- Whether the partner saw a draft and whether factual corrections could be requested.
- Whether the site receives a commission after a click or purchase.
- Author, reviewer, or editor interests that may affect how the material is perceived.
